10 mile TT G10/42 race result - 2nd June 2009

Temporary lights on the A29 once again meant that a 10 mile event was held instead of the 17 mile.

After a very hot day it turned out to be a fast evening with riders helped out to the turn with the northerly wind that was dropping for the return.

The four riders who rode last weeks event on the normally faster course at Horsham all improved by at least 30 seconds.
With a small turnout, other members missed out on one of those better days that have been missing so far this season.

With none of our fast men turning up Nolan Heather was the winner. Phil Turner with another big improvement of nearly 2 minutes on his time on this course 2 weeks ago took the handicap award again.
