Unfortunately road works cropped up again for another event, this time with lights on the A29 just south of Ockley. The finish was just short of the lights, with a distance of approximately 8.8 miles.
Thanks to Peter Cooke for timing and producing the result and to Paul Deen for putting out the warning signs on the course.
It was a nice warm evening, bright and sunny with a slight northerly wind. Paul Deen with the fastest time was almost a minute clear of Isaac Griffiths who surprisingly pipped Paul Haywood by just one second.
After having had trouble with his cleats on his new time trial bike in the event last week, Matt McConnell produced a fast ride to take the handicap award by over two minutes from Ryan Sharp.
